Danao Mayor Jose Cepedoza (inset, upper left corner) has announced that on May 24, 2024, the Local Government Unit Danao conducted the International Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) Candlelight Memorial 2024 at the Municipal Atrium, Municipal Hall-Danao, Bohol. This was done after the 3 o’clock Divine Mercy Devotional Prayer with this year’s theme: “TOGETHER WE REMEMBER, TOGETHER WE HEAL, THROUGH LOVE AND SOLIDARITY!” Mayor Cepedoza in his speech during the event said: “Thank you to all RHU Personnel who helped in the preparations and also to all LGU Employees who commemorated with us during the said Activity. The activity started with a brief input about the disease of HIV/AIDS from our DTTB Doc Juno Sumatra. This was followed by the Prayer for all the Departed ones, and ended with a Song “If We Hold On Together” which depicts a bit about the Theme for this year regarding Solidarity. Thank you everyone.
