We wish to say that there is only one and there will only be one Benjie Oliva in the world!

Benjie Oliva, the outgoing president of the Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City, has been honored with multiple awards for his exceptional leadership and the club’s commitment to community service.

The accolades were presented during the Rotary International District 3810 Awards and Recognition Night 2024 at Sofitel Manila on June 15.

During his radio guesting at Open Forum, hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Gloria Leodivica Araneta on June 17, Oliva discussed the significance of these awards, among others.

He was recognized as the most outstanding Rotary Club president for the 2023-2024 Rotary year, distinguishing himself among 117 presidents in his district.

The club itself was awarded the title of most outstanding Rotary Club, reflecting the collective dedication of its members to serving others.

Rotary Clubs are known for their service-oriented activities within their communities and beyond.

Additionally, Oliva earned the Star of the Night (Male) award, outshining Health Undersecretary Eric Tayag by aligning with the event’s theme and impressing the judges.

He also received the Rotary Leadership Award for his exemplary role as club president and the Governor’s Challenge Achievement Award, which is given to clubs that meet challenges set by the district governor. These challenges include participation in conventions and financial contributions to Rotary International.

The club’s commitment to Rotary International’s goals was further recognized with awards for Best in the Rotary Foundation Contribution-Absolute Per Area and Best in the Rotary Foundation Contribution – Per Capita Per Area.

Moreover, Oliva’s club won awards for Best in District Participation Per Area, Best in Public Image Per Area, Best in Community Service Per Area, and several others including Best in Vocational Service, Membership Engagement, Environment, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, Disease Prevention and Treatment, and Peace Building and Conflict Prevention.

These awards highlight Rotary Clubs’ efforts in promoting disease prevention through initiatives like water sanitation and polio prevention—key areas of focus for Rotary International.

Rotary International is a global service organization that aims to unite business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, promote high ethical standards, and foster goodwill and peace worldwide.

In addition to his role as a Rotarian, Oliva is actively involved in various activities related to Catigbian town.

We wish to say that there will only be one Benjie Oliva in the world!

Congratulations. Sir!
