Maribojoc Mayor Romulo Manuta (inset, upper left corner) announced: “On June 23, 2024, the Philippine National Police personnel of Maribojoc Municipal Police Station under the direct supervision of PLT Alfredo C. Liguayan, Jr., chief of police conducted a Community Outreach Program thru giving of school supplies and a new pair of slippers to the children of Barangay Cabawan, Maribojoc, Bohol in line with the station best practice ‘Ti-il Mo, Protektahan Ko’ Program. This activity is to bring the police closer to the public; and to continue winning the hearts and minds of the community – an indispensable element in the attainment of its goal of making Maribojoc a safer place to live, visit, invest and do business. The said Program has a simple concept of offering desirable and good deeds with generosity not only in the performance of their official mandate on bringing peace and order and ensuring public safety but also in their conduct of community outreach programs and other services. Furthermore, the activity aims to show kindness and compassion as part of the PNP Good Deeds which aims to maintain the harmonious relationship between the Philippine National Police and the Community.” Contributed photo
