Per PROCLAMATION NO. 597, S. 2024, DECLARING THE PERIOD OF 17 TO 23 JULY OF EVERY YEAR AS “NATIONAL DISABILITY RIGHTS WEEK”, the Local Government Unit of Danao, Bohol, under the leadership of Mayor Jose G. Cepedoza (right, seated), with full support from the Sanguninag Bayan led by Vice Mayor Albert B. Vitor and all SB Members, joins the nation in celebrating this year’s National Disability Rights Week (formerly National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week) with the theme, “Promoting Inclusion: Celebrating Abilities and Advocating Access”. The celebration aims to ensure full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and freedoms by persons with disabilities. Dedicated time to honor and celebrate the abilities, achievements, and contributions of individuals with disabilities. It is a powerful reminder to all on the essence of inclusion, equality, and accessibility for all.
