2,764 Tubignon Households Received Emergency Housing Assistance from the National Authority (NHA). Facilitated by the personnel from NHA with the assistance of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, a two-day distribution activity was held at the Tubigon Cultural Center on July 16-17, 2024. The 2,764 recipients of the housing assistance were the victims of Typhoon Odette in 2021 who lost their homes due the ravage caused by the destructive supertyphoon. In his briefer, NHA Bohol District Office OIC- Genesis Caesar Manalili divulged how the funds went through all the processes and encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds appropriately. Congressman Edgar Chatto, the Representative of the First Congressional District of Bohol and the lead instrument for the NHA funds to be expedited, attended the ceremony. The Honorable Congressman was accompanied by his daughter and the Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of Balilihan, Atty. Trisha Chatto.
