Beneficiaries of the “Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program” (AKAP) from the first district received their assistance during a payout on July 26, 2024 at the Camp Bernido Multi-Purpose Building. Cong. Edgar Chatto (front row, center) led the turnover of the financial assistance along with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the implementing arm of the program. It can be recalled that AKAP was launched in Bohol during the first state visit of President Bongbong Marcos last June 28. The payout completes the batch of beneficiaries of the program for the poor, near poor and low income workers who are affected by present financial challenges.
