Sikatuna Kids’ biggest weight gainer contest 2024 awarding day. In relation to the PCR Month and Nutrition Month Celebration, personnel of the Sikatuna municipal police station under the direct supervision of PLT Elizandra Julia M. Jamora (extreme left), officer-in-charge, initiated a contest dubbed as “Sikatuna Kids’ Biggest Weight Gainer Contest 2024” intended for the Sikatuna Children from 0 to 5 years old. Said activity started on July 12, 2024 and ended today, July 31, 2024 wherein the top 3 kids with biggest weight gain were awarded with cash prize. A consolation prize was also given to the rest of the attendees. The goal of the contest was to encourage underweight children to consume more nutritious foods and achieve healthy weight gain over a period of 20 days. The members of the organizing committee thanked the following for the success of the activity: the Sikatuna Philippine National Police Personnel for the Cash Prize; Hon. Justiniana “JecJec” Ellorimo (2nd from left) and Former Mayor Jose M Ellorimo, Jr. for the additional Cash Prize and Snacks; Mr. and Mrs. Gara, Mr. and Mrs. Balatero; parents/guardians who worked hard and brought their children to our police station as participants in the contest; the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) of each barangay who encouraged the parents to join in the activity.
