NOW SHOWING
“Alien: Romulus” at Screenville Cinema
The seventh installment in the popular “Alien” film series and serves as a standalone interquel set between the events of “Alien” in 1979 and “Aliens” in 1986, “Alien: Romulus” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
The new sci-fi thriller takes place in the year 2142 when a group of young space colonists, while scavenging a derelict space station called Renaissance, find themselves in a confrontation with the most terrifying life forms in the universe.
Basing on the film’s script, “Alien: Romulus” has no connection to any previous Ridley Scott’s Alien films like “Prometheus” (2012) and “Alien: Covenant” (2017). So, while it’s technically the seventh movie in the overall franchise, “Alien: Romulus” is actually the fifth installment in the Alien series joining in the original lineup which consists of “Alien,” “Aliens,” “Alien 3,” (1992) and Alien: Resurrection (1997).
“ALIEN ROMULUS” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
