The Rural Health Unit Dauis first ever cooking competition held on Aug. 6, 2024 was a resounding success this year, with Barangay Dao, taking home the grand prize! The event, which showcased the culinary talents of the various Barangay cooks, was filled friendly competition. Barangay Dao’s winning dish vowed the judges with its exceptional flavors. Close behind in second and third places were Barangay Tabalong and Barangay Catarman, respectively, who also delivered impressive performances. Special thanks to the support of our beloved Mayor Roman Bullen, first lady Carmelle and Vice Mayor Marietta Sumaylo (inset, upper left corner), to our judges, Coun. Rhea Marie Pon-Martinez, Ms. Mellanie Wallace and Sir Niel John Oclarit as our esteemed panel of judges who carefully tasted and evaluated the entries, scrutinizing every detail and flavor of the presentation.
