More supports pour in for 29th BAAAA

By Bong Madanguit

Patrons and sponsors have been flooding in to support the continuous existence of the 29th Bohol Schools Amateur Athletic Association (BSAAA), one of the pioneering inter school basketball in the city.

If we may recall, the BSAAA criticized by many in spite its invaluable contribution to the big time basketball and paved the way to uplift the standard of the game which the grassroots players have displayed.

Known as the poor boys league, the tournament continued its yearly existence with high moral and competitiveness, through benevolence of our kind hearted and basketball loving citizens.

If plans do not miscarry, the 29th BSAAA is tentatively set on the 28th of September.

People from almost all walks of life all over the world poured in their support to the longest running inter school basketball tournament.

As of this writing, the following spared some of their blessings to the 29th BSAAA: Maria Lilibeth Hinkley, Corpusa “Ping” Sarmiento, Demetrio Borja, Arvin Alfarero, Roy Angelo Jala, Ebet & Ann Chua, City Councilor Jonas Revil Cacho, Pamela Gallardo, Vincent “ Rocky” Gatal, Veronica Gatal Geopano, Renepol Ache, Bobong Uy, and Gerry Madanguit.

And among those which have contributed much to the continued existence of the undertaking is the Bohol Tribune & DYTR (True Radio) & AM/FM.
