Cong. Edgar Chatto (center), presided over the Board of Directors’ meeting of the Philippine Red Cross-Bohol Chapter, where Emmanuel Pilayre, chapter administrator, reported on accomplishments and service delivery plans. Chatto, as chair of the chapter, is overseeing program implementation, including facilitating response activities for emergencies as well as disasters. A new Audio Visual Hall was turned over to Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School on August 29, 2024. The project was completed through funding facilitated by Cong. Edgar Chatto. The initial funding for the AV Hall was in 2018 when Chatto was then governor. He put in additional funding in 2020 and 2024 to finish the project. Chatto congratulated Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School and thanked the three principals: Nelly Lafuente, Maria Antonette Pedraganda Dugang and Ciony Gallentes whom he worked with along with the Parents Teachers Association. District office chief of staff Atty. Abel Damalerio (4th from left) represented Chatto during the turnover that was also attended by Mayor Jane Yap (3rd from right) and Neneth Ingcog (2nd from right), Education Program Supervisor representing Dr. Wil Bongalos.
