Town News-MARIBOJOC

The Maribojoc FB said: “Maribojoc Mayor Romulo Manuta (inset, lower left corner) led LGU Maribojoc in celebrating the Civil Service Month 2024 with Series of fun-filled activities. He was ably supported by The Civil Service Commission (CSC) in putting up the activities of the 124th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, as declared by Presidential Proclamation No. 1050, series of 1997, which recognizes September as Civil Service Month. This observance commemorates the establishment of the Philippine Civil Service on September 19, 1900, through Public Law No. 5. This year’s celebration focused on sustainable management practices to build a future-ready civil service, emphasizing the need for public servants who balance organizational performance with economic, environmental, and social responsibilities. To mark this significant occasion, LGU Maribojoc prepared a series of activities aimed at honoring our hardworking public servants: The Lingkod PAG-IBIG On Wheels (LPOW); In-House Training for LGU Employees; Free Medical Laboratory Services for LGU Employees; Free Finds: Free Ukay-Ukay for Employees; LGU Family Day. Let’s come together as a community to honor and celebrate the hard work and commitment of our civil servants. Their unwavering dedication to public service truly makes a difference in our lives every day.” Contributed photo
