Mayor Jao said: “The Department of Agriculture distributed the Rice Farmers Financial Assistance (RFFA) of Php5,000.00 to Tubignon rice farmers at Tubigon Multipurpose Building in Potohan, Tubigon, Bohol on September 23, 2024. The RFFA program aims to provide support to rice producers facing various challenges including production costs and climate change. With the assistance of the personnel from the Municipal Agriculturist Office, farmers from Bosongon, Buenos Aires, Bunacan, Cabulijan, Cahayag, Cawayanan, Centro, Ilijan Norte, Libertad, Macaas, Panaytayon, Pandan, Pinayagan Norte, Pinayagan Sur, Pooc Oriental, Potohan, Tan-awan and Tinangnan received their cash assistance.” Contributed photo
