Cong. Edgar Chatto met with Tubigon officials led by Mayor William Jao and Vice Mayor Rene Villaber, National Housing Authority team led by Genesis Manalili and the association of over 300 affected families. The meeting focused on the Tubigon Resettlement Project for residents of island barangays affected by the sea level rise due to climate change. This project is a priority and urgent concern. NHA General Manager Joeben Tai has assured Chatto in their budget discussions that the agency will deliver a complete housing facility. Phase 1 is about to start with P50M in 2024 GAA and Phase 2 to be allocated P72M in 2025 . House of Representatives new Housing Committee Chair Congw. The first ever Cong. Edgar Chatto Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Basketball League culminated in championship games held at the Balilihan Gym on September 27, 2024. SK Tagbilaran emerged as champions followed by SK Tubigon in 2nd place, SK Balilihan in 3rd place and SK Dauis in 4th place.
