Emma and her Party of Gratitude/Appreciation September 20, 2024

She graduated Summa Cum Laude for her Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Bohol. Her baccalaureate degree, Bachelor of Science in Commerce, was at Divine Word College of Tagbilaran (now Holy Name University) where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. This course paved the way to her taking and passing the board examinations for Certified Public Accountants.

Her employment record shows that she started as an Internal Accountant at the Metro Cebu Arrastre & Stevedoring Services, Inc., a position she held for ten (10) years. Then, she went to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) -Tagbilaran City, Bohol where she worked for thirty-three (33) years until her retirement. At the BIR, her entry position was as Revenue Officer 1 and with all the promotions she earned, she retired with the position of Asst. Revenue District Officer.

As a gesture of great appreciation for the wonderful service she gave to the BIR, the entire organization held, for her, a Gratitude and Appreciation Party (for her retirement) on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Dagohoy Grand Hall of the Bohol Tropics Resort which started at 6:00 p.m. until the time that everyone didn’t want to go home. Yes, everyone had fun, happiness, laughter, prizes, dances, songs; name it and they had it.

The celebration was in honor of EMMA SUPREMO – ALABAT, born in Loon, Bohol on September 24, 1959, under the zodiac sign of Libra and presently residing at J.A. Clarin St. Tagbilaran City. She is married to Danilo Tumanda Alabat, an Electrical Engineer. The couple is blessed with an only child, Marianne Kristie S. Alabat who is a Registered Nurse. Both Emma and Danilo always show an aura of fulfillment and gratitude if they speak about their only grandchild, Aidan Gerard Alabat

Hosted by Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta of “SMILE”, Philippines, the dinner celebration started with the grand entrance of the celebrator ushered in by a grand production number and a mob dance led by Happy Weddings Bohol. After 33 flowers were given to the celebrator, the Grace before meals was led by Fr. Icon Supremo. Dinner was extravagantly entertaining with the performance of  Moonlight Serenade by Alma and Frank.

The performances of the following talents brought the house down: BIR Retirees, Revenue Collection Officer, Collection Section, former BIR OJTs, Client Support Section, Compliance Section, Utility and Security Group, Administrative Section, and Assessment Section. Then, the video greetings from Beth Lopez–AVILA, Abigail Sharon, RDO Estrella Bernaldez, and Deanna Wong touched the hearts of the guests.

The cake ceremony that followed featured the celebrator herself with Dominic Valeroso of BIR Bohol doing the honors for the ceremonial toast. Another captivating number was the song presentation of RDO Debbie Angeles Garcia supported by the messages delivered by former RDO Avia Globasa, National Food Authority Regional Director Peng Evasco, and Marian Alabat.

With the awarding of the plaque of appreciation to the celebrator, everyone was eager to listen to the message of gratitude and appreciation delivered by the celebrator, Emma Supremo Alabat.
