Tubigon Mayor William Jao (inset, upper right corner) bared an information on October 17, 2024, saying that the Commission on Audit (COA) conducted an Exit Conference among 12 Audited Barangays. Mr. Raymond B. Cagampang, CPA, Audit Team Leader of the Commission on Audit; led the rollout of the Exit Conference for the 12 audited barangays for Audit Year CY 2021-2023. The audited barangays included Banlasan, Bosongon, Cawayanan, Libertad, Matabao, Mocaboc Island, Panaytayon, Pandan, Pinayagan Norte, Pinayagan Sur, Pooc Oriental, and Ubojan. The rollout was attended by the Punong Barangays, Brgy. Treasurers, Chairpersons on Committee on Appropriations, SK Chairpersons, SK Treasurers, Barangay Bookkeepers, Municipal Accountant and Municipal Internal Auditor. The activity was held at the Tubigon Cultural Center and on October 17-18, 2024, LGU-Tubigon key persons attended a 2-day seminar on Business Permits and Licensing Operations at Maxi Hotel, Tagbilaran City. The seminar which aims on enhancing legal compliance, ethical and client feedback systems in business permits and licensing operations is organized by Bohol Municipal Treasurer’s League, Inc. (BOMUNTREAL) in collaboration with DILG, BFP, DENR, and DTI. Attending for LGU-Tubigon were Constancio S. Cosare III and Mary Ann B. Olayer from BPLO, Lovely Boligao from MPDC while Ronilo H.
