Bluewater Panglao is set to transform into a magical wonderland as it launches its annual Christmas celebration with “A Symphony of Lights” on November 9, 2024.

The resort’s traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a cherished annual event, will officially mark the beginning of the festive season in this corner of Panglao.

The ceremony is expected to set the tone for the resort’s holiday season, promising an evening of warmth, community, and the kind of magical moments that define Philippine Christmas celebrations.

The evening’s ceremonies will be attended by the Who’s Who of Bohol, promising to bring an extra sparkle to the occasion.

Set to begin at 5:00 PM, the event will welcome guests, clients, and partners to witness the illumination that has become a hallmark of the resort’s holiday celebrations.

“Christmas has always been a time that inspires hope and awakens the spirit of generosity,” reads the event’s invitation, stressing the deeper meaning behind the celebration. The ceremony aims to bring together people from all walks of life, embodying the traditional Filipino Christmas spirit of sharing and community.

This year’s theme, “A Symphony of Lights,” suggests an orchestrated display of illumination that promises to create a mesmerizing atmosphere against the backdrop of Panglao’s natural beauty.

The event represents more than just a lighting ceremony; it’s a continuation of a tradition that has become deeply woven into the resort’s cultural fabric.

For visitors and locals alike, the Christmas tree lighting at Bluewater Panglao has become one of the anticipated markers of the holiday season, symbolizing the start of the Philippines’ famously long and jubilant Christmas celebrations.
