Guv downplays DNL’s allegations

After a day when gubernatorial candidate Dan Neri Lim unleashed allegations, Gov. Aris Aumentado downplayed such allegations thrown to him.

Aumentado said that the allegations are “nothing serious” and he merely laughed off the accusations of Lim that were revealed in a press conference on Nov. 4, 2024.

He also downplayed the accusations of whistleblower Ronie Orillosa against him. Aumentado feels that he can withstand any charges that Lim would file against the governor.

Aumentado is confident that the Boholano people are aware of what he has done for Bohol,

He told his critics to do their research before making any accusations against him.

To recall, Lim accused Aumentado for the latter’s inaction in preventing the sale of the SPC Power Corp.’s shares in Bohol Light Company Inc, to the Raxon Group.

Moreover, Lim accused that the sale should not have pushed through as there was no prior written permission from the provincial government.

Ironically, Lim is challenging Aumentado in the gubernatorial race after they have become allies for a couple of years,

Lim was even the vice-chairman of the now defunct Office of Government Accountability and Review (OGAR).
