Moana reunites with her demigod friend Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson) who accompanies her on a journey to break god Nalo’s curse on the hidden island of Motufetu. Together, they confront old and new foes, including the Kakamora and underworld goddess Matangi.

According to Walt Disney, “Moana” was a big success generating more than $680 million at the box office; and they expect the same for the sequel.
