A Visit for a Cause

by Nixie Tumulak
The Philippine Ports Authority-Tagbilaran Retirees and the Rafael Palma College (now University of Bohol) High School Batch ’69 jointly sponsored an outreach program to provide lunch to the orphans of Sunshine Home, this city. They also gave out bundles of joy on December 15, 2024.

To the delight of the sponsors, and as witnessed by the DSWD workers, the children gave a performance of dances and songs that earned them additional cash prizes.
The activity was spearheaded by Nixie Tumulak who did almost everything to make this outreach program successful.

Tumulak is the president of both groups.

She was ably assisted by the members of the groups who also contributed their efforts and time to make the program come into reality.
