The group extended their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported the Tubigon Resettlement Project.
“Your unwavering commitment to our cause has brought us closer to a brighter future,” the letter stated.
They especially thanked Chatto, whose tireless efforts, secured a significant budget allocation of 50 million pesos in the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA) for Phase 1 of the project.
Chatto had also secured a budget of more than 73 million pesos in the proposed 2025 GAA, to be downloaded to the National Housing Authority (NHA).

The beneficiaries also acknowledged the significant role played by the NHA Bohol through Genesis Manalili, in the preparation of technical documents and other crucial documents necessary for the project’s implementation.
Meanwhile, they cited the contribution of the National Anti-Poverty Commission
(NAPC), under the leadership of former Undersecretary Paterna Ruiz, for the convergence approach that involved the social preparations, including community engagement, stakeholder consultations, and coordination with government agencies.
These involved facilitating meetings, discussions, and the development of action plans to ensure meeting the project commitment.
