DISTRICT NEWS – 1ST

Cong. Edgar Chatto (2nd from right) inspected ongoing infrastructure projects in Tubigon. These include roads, bridges, multipurpose buildings, school buildings, flood controls, evacuation centers, street lighting projects and others. He was joined by Mayor William Jao (middle) and Vice Mayor Rene Villaber (right). Also with them were Engr. Mark Tuyor Cellan (2nd from left) of the DPWH and Eric Galan (left), congressional district office coordinator for infrastructure. It may be noted that the new Municipal Hall of Tubigon was reconstructed with the support of Chatto, who was then governor, after the 2013 earthquake. A dialysis center was also opened recently in the Tubigon Community Hospital facility. Chatto likewise initiated the electrification of all island barangays in Tubigon and the first congressional district with NAPOCOR-SPUG and BOHECO 1. Contributed photo
