The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Maribojoc, under the leadership of Mayor Romulo Manuta (front row, extreme right), spearheaded the turnover and blessing of four (4) duplex housing units in Barangay Aliguay on February 7, 2025. The new homes will provide shelter to eight (8) families, marking another milestone in the municipality’s commitment to housing and community development. The blessing ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Floro Hora (front row, extreme left), parish priest of Maribojoc, who prayed for the safety and well-being of the new homeowners. Present during the event were Vice Mayor Emilio Castilla (front row, 2nd from left), SB Member Milueda Escabarte, Punong Barangays of Aliguay and Poblacion, department heads, LGU employees, and the homeowners themselves, all witnessing this significant moment for the community. The ceremony was also honored by the presence of Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado’s representative, former Mabini Mayor Stephen Rances (front row, 3rd from left), reaffirming the provincial government’s support for housing initiatives in Maribojoc. This project highlights the LGU’s ongoing efforts to uplift the lives of its residents through sustainable housing programs, ensuring that every Maribojocanon has access to safe and dignified living conditions.
