Announced that on February 24, 2025, the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Buenavista proudly participated in the National Kick-Off Parade, aligning with the nationwide campaign against dengue under the theme “Alas Kwatro Kontra Dengue.” He said: “This event was a significant step in reinforcing community awareness and mobilizing collective efforts to combat the spread of dengue fever.” The “Alas Kwatro Kontra Dengue” initiative emphasizes the importance of a coordinated approach to dengue prevention, focusing on four essential actions: eliminating mosquito breeding grounds, maintaining cleanliness, enhancing community participation, and ensuring proper health education. Mayor Duallo also said: “The theme serves as a call to action for every Filipino to take responsibility in mitigating the risks associated with dengue outbreaks. The participation of RHU Buenavista in the National Kick-Off Parade underscored its unwavering dedication to safeguarding public health.” By joining hands with other communities across the country, they reinforced the message that dengue prevention is a shared responsibility. The event not only strengthened advocacy but also inspired collective action, ensuring that the fight against dengue remains a top priority for everyone. RHU Buenavista extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Buenavista for their invaluable support and participation in the event.
