            From Viva Films comes a blend of psychological horror, family drama, occult mystery and slasher thrills which is an official selection to the 54th International Film Festival in Rotterdam, “Lilim” is now showing at Screenville Cinema 1 of Alturas Mall.  

              The film follows the harrowing journey of two siblings Issa (Heaven Peralejo) and Tomas (Skywalker David) who seek refuge in a secluded orphanage, only to uncover a dark secret lurking beneath its walls. Issa and Tomas begin to sense something is wrong—strange rituals occur and an eerie force looms over the orphanage. The nuns are engaged in dark cult practices and confront an ancient evil. Escaping may not be an option.

           “Lihim” is directed by awrad-winnning filmmaker Mikhail Red,         Best Director and Best Picture honors for the 2022 psychological horror-mystery thriller, “Deleter,” one of the highest grossing Filipino horror films. 

“LILIM” is now showing at Screenville Cinema 1 of Alturas Mall.

“Snow White”

at Screenville Cinemas

A live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, which itself is based on the famous 1812 fairy tale “Snow White” by the Brothers Grimm, “Snow White” will premiere on Wednesday, March 19, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.  

          A classic fairy tale written by German brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, collectively known as the Brothers Grimm, “Snow White” follows the eponymous princess, Snow White (Rachel Zegler-“West Side Story”), who runs into trouble when an evil, power-hungry queen (Gal Gadot-“Wonder Woman”) marries her father and tries to kill her out of vanity.

  Her jealous stepmother will stop at nothing to become the fairest of them all. With the help of the Seven Dwarves and a handsome prince who becomes her lover, Snow White liberates her kingdom from her cruel stepmother the Evil Queen, exacting her rightful revenge. 

“SNOW WHITE” will premiere on Wednesday, March 19, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.  

PILIPINAS GOT TALENT prospect Rodrigo Biloy of Poblacion, Dauis, dubbed as the “Yoyoy Villame of Bohol”, is among the five lucky performers who hurdled the Pilipinas Got Talent-Season 7 audition last March 8, at the Island City Mall Activity Center. Biloy and the other qualifiers will fly to Manila today, March 16, for the scheduled taping at ABS-CBN Studio this week. Biloy is a well-known novelty singer here in Bohol performing in some fiesta variety shows and other events mimicking the voice of his idol, the legendary novelty king Yoyoy Villame. When not performing, he is busy recording some election campaign jingles for local candidates like Dauis councilor Jobert Bomediano who is seeking reelection, Balilihan Vice Mayoralty aspirant Jun Baliong, Engr. Jean Lamanilao Valle of Bilar, and gubernatorial bet Atty. Dan Lim. Those candidates who want to have jingles this campaign period, you can call 09190796050.                  

CENTERSTAGE, the premiere party band of Bohol, will perform again on 127th Foundation Day celebration of Barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City, headed by Brgy. Captain Nilo Lumantas, on Wednesday, March 19, at Manga covered court. The event is coordinated by Kag. Marlon Delusa and powered by JVL Pro-Sounds. Admission is free.
