Bohol Light rates drop

The Bohol Light reported a drop in power rates in March 2025,

The company announced that the residential rate dropped to P9.04 per kilowatt hour (pKwH) or a reduction of 0.68 pKwH compared to the one in February.

Moreover, the commercial rate was reduced from P9.78 pKwH to P8.75 pKwH in March.

Bohol Light said that lower generation and transmission charges led to a reduction in the power rates this month.

The utility company also said that the reduction is part of the company’s effort to bring down the electric bill of consumers.

Bohol Light has been leading the effort to make power more affordable and stable for its customers;.

Bohol Light is also taking advantage of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market in purchasing power for consumers witch will bring competitive pricing for power.
