Judge Raul Barbarona of the Dauis-Panglao Municipal Circuit Trial Court inducted the new officers of the Association of Writers and Radio Announcers Foundation, Inc. (AWRAFI), Bohol Literary Arts and Culture Circle (BLACC), Lubas sa Dagang Bisaya, Inc. (Ludabi), Metro Tagbilaran-Bohol chapter, and the National Visayan Cultural Association, Inc. (Naviscai) during their 46th joint induction program, which was held last Saturday at Alpinia Hall, JJ’s Seafood Village, in Tagbilaran City.

The newly inducted officers of AWRAFI include Dr. Joahna C. Initay as president, broadcaster/writer Ronnie Orillosa as vice president, broadcaster Carmen Caga as secretary, Nenita Besas as assistant secretary, Mario Libaga as treasurer, broadcaster Aurora Galos as assistant treasurer, Rolando Paloso as auditor, lawyer Jose Philips P. dela Torre as legal counsel, and Bohol Tribune editor and broadcaster Ardy Araneta-Batoy, writer Fidel Coritico, columnist Jes B. Tirol, and Paul Alima as directors.

The officers of BLACC who were sworn in include Aurora Galos as president, lawyer Philips Jose P. dela Torre as vice president, Carmen Caga as secretary, Mario Limbaga as treasurer, Alexander Initay as auditor, Kagawad Urcesio Amon as public relations officer, and Dr. Jes B. Tirol, Fidel Coritico, Rolando Paloso, and Juvenal Beniga as directors.
The new officers of Ludabi include Fidel P. Coritico as president, Rolando Paloso as first vice president, Kagawad Ursesio Amon as executive vice president, Nenita Besas as secretary, Mario Limbaga as treasurer, Alexander Initay as auditor, Juvenal Beniga and Lerma Ocado as public relations officers, Domingo Sinon and Angel Maninantan as peace officers, and Dr. Jes B. Tirol, Paul Alima, lawyer Philips Jose P. dela Torre, and Dr. Joahna Cabalit-Initay as directors.


The officers of Naviscai who were sworn in include Dr. Jes B. Tirol as president, Rolando Paloso as vice president, Carmen Caga as secretary, Mario Libaga as treasurer, Alexander Initay as auditor, and Lerma Ocado as public relations officer.
Ardy Araneta-Batoy served as the master of ceremonies for the event.
Former City Vice Mayor and Retired Judge Jorge D. Cabalit, who is an adviser to the four associations, delivered the welcome address, while AWRAFI Vice President Orillosa gave the closing remarks.
