On March 6, 2025, in the morning, the PNP Sikatuna, led by PCPT Nelson D. Lodripas, COP (OIC), facilitated a significant Covenant Signing as part of efforts to ensure a peaceful, honest, and orderly election for the May 12, 2025, National and Local Elections (NLE) and BARMM Parliamentary Election. Held at the Sikatuna Gymnasium, the event was graced by key stakeholders, including representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Sikatuna, Rural Health Unit (RHU), Sikatuna Parish Church led by Fr. Joselito Masola, DILG representative Mr. Ted Mascarinas, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) led by Hon. Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo (left, standing). Through the Covenant Signing, all candidates and stakeholders solemnly pledged to respect electoral laws, uphold democratic values, and ensure that the election process remains free from violence, fraud, and intimidation.
