On April 8, 2025 the Tubigon mayor announced the following: “Centenarian and Expanded Centenarian Benefits Payout at the Tubigon Multi-Purpose Covered Court. 36 beneficiaries for the first batch of senior citizens were awarded their Centenarian and Expanded Centenarian benefits. These incentives, distributed by Local Government Unit of Tubigon – Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), were categorized based on the age of the recipients: Octagenarians (80 & 85 years old), Nonagenarians (90 & 95 years old), and Centenarians (100 years old). The benefits were made possible through the collaboration of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA), the National Commission of Senior Citizens and the Provincial Government of Bohol.
