In a remarkable display of academic excellence, the University of Bohol – College of Criminal Justice (UBCJ) has been recognized as one of the Top Performing Schools in Region VII, securing the No. 2 spot with an impressive 72.95% passing rate among first-time takers of the February, 2025 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE).
This achievement surpasses the national passing rate of 65.22%, highlighting the University’s continued commitment to quality education and professional preparation.
Dr. Shirley Ochea-Molina, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice, disclosed that UBCJ earned its No. 2 ranking under Category A, which includes schools with 100 or more examinees.
Adding to the college’s accomplishments, University of Bohol examinee Althea June A. Roa was recognized as a Regional Exemplary Passer, earning the 10th spot in the regional search with an average rating of 89.65%.
The Search for Regional Exemplary Passers is a prestigious initiative spearheaded by the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) – Region VII in collaboration with the Council of Deans for Criminology and Criminal Justice – Region VII. (Leo Armando Boncales)
