A sequel to Ben Affleck’s 2016 sleeper hit, “The Accountant”, which grossed $155 million worldwide, “The Accountant 2” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
In the first film, Christian Wolff (Affleck-“Armageddon”) is an autistic CPA with a genius for numbers acting as a financial adviser and forensic accountant for world’s most dangerous criminal organizations; the reason why he is pursued by Treasury agents, while also learning that a hitman on his trail turns out to be his long-estranged brother Braxton (Jon Bernthal-“Sicario”).
The sequel now brings back the highly lethal brothers reuniting to investigate the mysterious death of Treasury Director Ray King, an old acquaintance of Wolff. Together with US Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried. They also find themselves dealing with both a human trafficking ring and a new deadly assassin.

A world without Avengers doesn’t mean there’s not a group of superheroes. There is a group and they’re called the Thunderbolts. A group of supervillains from the MCU recruited to go on missions for the government.
These unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker — find themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. These disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.

Operation Free Tuli
After the success of Alturas “Eye Love You” Eye Care Program, the Alturas Group of Companies (AGC), through its Alay Marcela Foundation, will conduct another worthwhile medical activity, the “Operation: Libreng Tuli”, scheduled these summer months of April and May in the different barangays of Bohol.
The first surgical operation of the said free circumcision of AGC was scheduled yesterday, April 26, in Brgy. Poblacion, Cortes, where a number of male patients, mostly young children accompanied by their parents, availed themselves of libreng tuli with free post-operation medicines, through the coordination of the Cortes Rural Health Unit (RHU).
Another Alturas Operation Libreng Tuli is happening today, April 27, in Brgy. Lincod, Maribojoc. Those who want to avail the free circumcision must see their Barangay Health Workers (BWS) for the pre-listing registration.
Other schedules of free circumcision of AGC are May 3, Catagbacan Norte, Loon; May 4, Alturas Mall, Tagbilaran City; May 17, Cabatang, Alicia; May 18, Gabi, Ubay; May 24, Alturas-Talibon; May 25, Canhayupon, Dimiao; May 26, Tabalong, Dauis; May 27, Bolod, Panglao; and May 28, Tultugan, Calape.
The objective of Alturas Operation Libreng Tuli is to help the poor parents avail the free circumcision of their children and the free medicine for the recovery and healing of the wound.
Circumcision or tuli has a long historical tradition in the Philippines, and regarded as an obligatory rite of passage to manhood. Those who have not undergone the ritual are ridiculed and labelled pisot by their peers. According to medical studies, the smegma (tiktik) that accumulates at the neck of the glans penis can cause cervical cancer.
