Tagbilaran kicks off Operation Tuli 2025
The City Government of Tagbilaran has officially begun its annual Operation Tuli 2025, delivering free circumcision services to young boys in the city’s barangays through the Tagbilaran City Primary Care Facility (TCPCF) under the leadership of City Health Officer Dr. Jeia Pondoc.
Since its launch on May 6, the program has already served hundreds of young residents from Barangays Cogon, TipTip, Taloto, and Poblacion I.
These medical outreach activities are aimed at promoting proper hygiene and providing safe, accessible healthcare procedures for children, especially those from underprivileged families.
According to the TCPCF, this initiative not only addresses public health needs but also reinforces the city’s continuing commitment to preventive healthcare.
“Every year, we see an overwhelming response from parents and guardians. We thank the barangay health workers and volunteers who are working tirelessly with our team to make Operation Tuli a success,” says Dr. Pondoc.
The remaining barangay schedules for Operation Tuli 2025 are as follows: Barangay Manga on May 16, Booy on May 20, Ubujan on May 21, Dampas on May 23, Bool on May 27, Dao on May 29, and Cabawan on May 30.
The program continues into June with visits scheduled in Poblacion 3 on June 3, Mansasa on June 4, San Isidro on June 6, and Poblacion 2 on June 9.
The City Government urges parents to coordinate with their respective barangay health centers for registration and additional information.
With continued support from the community, Operation Tuli remains a vital public health initiative in ensuring the well-being of Tagbilaran’s youth.
