April 28, 2025, “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Danao celebrated the Mass Feast of Divine Mercy with deep reverence, led by Rev. Fr. “Fr. Emal” J. Mabanag (left), parish priest of the Holy Family Parish. During his homily, Fr. Emal emphasized the profound importance of “Diosnong Kalooy” (Divine Mercy) in our daily lives, reminding everyone of the boundless compassion that God offers. Following the solemn Mass, a vibrant program commenced at the Municipal Hall Atrium, spearheaded by our dedicated Municipal Mayor Jose G. Cepedoza (right) and graciously hosted by our ever dynamic and active HRMO, Mrs. Dahlia N. Montecina. The event also marked a momentous occasion with the oath-taking ceremonies of newly promoted regular employees, as well as the installation of the new set of officers of the Danao Agrarian Reform Cooperative. It was a day filled with faith, gratitude, and renewed commitment to service and community development. “Mercy is the language of the heart that creates bridges and heals wounds.” Contributed photo
