With lit candles and solemn hearts, we honoured the memory of those we have lost [due to] AIDS, recognized the courage and resilience of people living with HIV, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to end stigma and discrimination. The memorial serves as a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a name, a face, a story – and a life that matters. As we stood in silence, we reflected not only on the past, but also on the progress we’ve made the work that still lies ahead. Together, we shine a light of hope, compassion, and solidarity.
