Love in Full Bloom: Dr. Dave John Amatong and Dr. Dixie Joice Lomaad’s Dream Wedding”

On a sunny afternoon in Bohol, two hearts beat as one as DR. DAVE JOHN M. AMATONG and DR. DICIE JOICE C. LIMAAD exchanged vows in a lovely celebration of love, family, and shared dreams. The beautiful ceremony and reception were a testament to the couple’s commitment to each other and their future together.
The love story of Dr. Amatong and Dr. Lomaad began in medical school at Cebu Institute of Medicine, where they first met on August 1, 2018. Their friendship blossomed into courtship on April 1, 2019, and they became official on September 8, 2019. Four years later, Dr. Amatong proposed to Dr. Lomaad on September 8, 2023, setting the stage for their dream wedding.
The wedding ceremony was held at the picturesque Our Lady of the Assumption Shrine in Dauis, Bohol, and was officiated by three reverend fathers: Rev. Fr. Crisolito Geangan, Rev. Fr. Crisilio Alipoyo, and Rev. Fr. Niño Maconrey Supremo.
The soulful music of Koro Seraphim added a touch of Divine Elegance to the ceremony, while Mary Pearl Castrodes guided the guests as the church commentator.
The bride, Dr. Lomaad, looked stunning in a gown designed by Maui Lezama, with her natural beauty enhanced by Faith Gesite & Co. The groom, Dr. Amatong, arrived in style, and the bride in elegance, thanks to Bohol Vintage Cars.
Every moment of the ceremony and reception was beautifully captured by Nyaman Photography and Superseven for video.
The reception at the Verdant Pavilion of Mithi Resort & Spa was a masterclass in elegance and romance, with Belle of a Bride styling the venue to perfection. Guests were treated to a delectable feast, complete with a beautiful cake and refreshing drinks from Mithi’s Mobile Bar and cocktails by Biyan’s.
The celebration came alive with music from Jam 403, and the dance floor was lit with sounds, lights, and special effects courtesy of Disco Record Center.
A whole roast lechon from Josephine Cagas added to the festive atmosphere, and the program was hosted by Odessa Pusta-Rodriguez.
Behind the scenes, the event was expertly organized and coordinated by “SMILE”, Philippines directed by GLORIA LEODIVICA INES ARANETA, ensuring that every detail was taken care of.
As Dr. Amatong and Dr. Lomaad begin their new life together, their wedding serves as a reminder that true love grows with friendship, patience, and shared purpose. Their union is, indeed, a celebration of two hearts of love, hope, and commitment.
