LGU-LOON TURNOVER CEREMONY OF SYMBOLIC KEY OF RESPONSIBILITY. Outgoing Municipality of Loon Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos (left) formally turns over the symbolic Key of Responsibility and the reins of leadership to incoming Mayor Cesar Tomas “Yul” M. Lopez, MD (right), which was one of the highlights in the Turnover of LGU Records and Documents and Executive Briefing: State of Local Governance held at the Loon Activity Center on June 30, 2025. The event marks the official transition of local government authority following the May 2025 elections; and represents the full entrustment of governance, accountability and public service to the incoming administration. Facilitated by the Local Government Unit in coordination with DILG-Loon under MLGOO Glenda A. Laude, the activity was attended by the members of the 15th Sangguniang Bayan headed by outgoing Vice Mayor Lloyd Peter M. Lopez, MD; members of the incoming 16th Sangguniang Bayan headed by incoming Vice Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus Jr.; department heads and municipal employees.
