Baclayon Receives UNICEF and Japanese Donation for Enhanced Healthcare. Baclayon Mayor Alvin Uy (inset, lower left corner) extends heartfelt gratitude to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the people of Japan for their generous donation to the Baclayon Primary Care Facility (PCF). The donation includes 14 Samsung tablets and 3 Starlink satellite kits with a free 1-year subscription, which will be utilized for the DigiVacc App, a digital tool for streamlined vaccine tracking and real-time immunization reporting. Mayor Uy expressed delight that Baclayon was selected as one of the pilot sites nationwide for this initiative. This donation will significantly contribute to the municipality’s digital health transformation, ultimately enhancing the healthcare services for the people of Baclayon.
