
Maribojoc Farmers Shine in Provincial Agri Awards. Two farmers from Maribojoc, Bohol, were recognized for their outstanding contributions in agriculture and fishery during the SUHID sa Malampusong Mag-uumang Bol-anon awarding ceremony on July 14, 2025. Ernesto Macabenta (inset photo with Mayor Jonathan Rojas) was awarded 1st Place as Outstanding Cacao Grower, marking his second time receiving the prestigious award. Meanwhile, Segundo R. Laranjo secured 3rd Place as Outstanding Tilapia Grower, his first time being honored in the provincial search. The SUHID sa Malampusong Mag-uumang Bol-anon is an annual program of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) that recognizes exceptional Boholano farmers and fisherfolk for their excellence, dedication, and innovation in various sectors of agriculture and fisheries. The Local Government of Maribojoc congratulates both awardees for bringing pride to the municipality and serving as inspirations to fellow farmers and fisherfolk.
