Maribojoc Tops Bohol in Tax Collection Efficiency!

The Municipality of Maribojoc emerges as the top-performing local government unit (LGU) in tax collection efficiency in Bohol for the second consecutive year. The town bested 47 other municipalities in the province, and the recognition was given on July 25 during the awarding ceremony organized by the Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO) and the Bohol Municipal Treasurer’s League (BOMUNTREAL).
The activity was held at the MetroCentre Hotel, where Municipal Treasurer Maria Cirila Aldion personally received the award on behalf of the Municipality of Maribojoc, as Maribojoc ranked 1st among the 14 LGUs honored for excelling in business taxes, real property taxes, economic enterprises, and regulatory fees and charges—key indicators of efficient local tax collection.
The town celebrates with a resounding “Dasig Maribojoc!”
