“Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” at Screenville Cinemas
The most anticipated anime movie, which is the first in a trilogy of films that will depict the final arc of the Demon Slayer manga, “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Based on the “Infinity Castle” arc of the 2016–20 manga series, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” by Koyoharu Gotouge, the movie is set in the battleground between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan’s demons.
After his younger sister was turned into a demon, Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps, which hunt down demons. The boy battled many demons together with his comrades and alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen.
When they are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by Muzan, they actually fall into the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. Muzan traps Tanjiro Kamado and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps inside. The Demon Slayers are separated and begin battling numerous powerful demons as they search and fight for Muzan.

A sequel to “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” in 2021, and the ninth installment of “The Conjuring” film series, this new horror flick is another thrilling chapter of the iconic “Conjuring” cinematic universe, based on real events about the Smurl Haunting investigated by the Warrens.
The Smurl Haunting refers to claims made by Jack and Janet Smurl of West Pittston, Pennsylvania, USA, who alleged that a demon inhabited their home between 1974 and 1989.

Ibex to open at Island City Mall
US-based Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm ibex is expanding its operations here in Bohol with the opening of its third site located inside the so-called ICM Cyber City this coming November, late this year.
Top executives of Ibex Philippines and Alturas Group of Companies (AGC) attended the handover ceremony last Wednesday, at the new ibex building still under construction.
Mr. Greco Farias, the Senior Director of ibex Project Management, said the expansion is a testament to the company’s rapid client growth. He attributed it to the strong global demand from new and existing clients of ibex as the Philippines is now the new hub for BPO services.
The ibex Island City Mall will be the latest from a number of its Philippine sites located in Metro Manila, Davao, and here in Tagbilaran City, where it is the third one after ibex Plaza Marcela and ibex Alta Citta.
In her short opening remarks, AGC Research & Development Manager Lailah Biliran added that the unprecedented growth of BPO industry in Bohol will help provide more employment opportunities here. In fact, ibex is now hiring more applicants through its ongoing open house recruitment at Plaza Marcela and Alta Citta, and in other towns like Valencia and Tubigon.
Present during the formal turn-over were the AGC management team led by Mrs. Biliran, Leasing Manager Karen Jane Longjas, ICM Manager Mario Cirujales, Arch. Perpetuo Arambala, Project Manager Engr. Alfred Anaviso, and other officers and staff of AGC; and the ibex representatives headed by Mr. Farias.
