The Local Legislative Awards (LLA) Provincial Onsite Validation in Catigbian, Bohol, was successfully conducted on August 19, 2025. The validation team, comprising members from various government offices, assessed the municipality’s legislative performance. Validation Team Members: PCL Representatives -Ellen Pabe-Sagpang and Pulchra C. Pelaez; DILG Representatives – Regina Gina Gatal-Bastes (LGOO VII); Faye Arielle A. Oliquino (LGOO II); Jessa Jan A. Trazo (LGOO II). Other Representatives: Evangelyn Desucatan (Budget Office); Jasmin A. Ramas (Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development); Almirah M. Alidon (Office of the Provincial Agriculturist). The LLA aims to recognize exemplary performance of Sangguniang Panlungsod and Bayan for legislating measures that help build local administration and development. The evaluation process assesses the effectiveness of the legislative agenda, legislative tracking system, availability of legislative documents, efficiency of performance, and quality of office set-up and staff complement. Mayor Benjie Oliva (inset, upper left corner) and Vice Mayor Esteban N. Angilan, along with the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Catigbian, are commended for their active participation in the validation process, showcasing their commitment to good governance and legislative excellence.
