SIKATUNA SHINES IN HEALTH AWARDS. Once again this year, the Municipality of Sikatuna is very proud and honored as one of the recipients of two prestigious awards during the recently concluded 1st RESU AWARDS CEREMONY held at The Tent Mandani Bay, Cebu City. The Municipality of Sikatuna was awarded a GOLD CERTIFICATE EXCELLENCE in the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and a DIAMOND AWARDEE in the Field Health Services Information System. These awards were received by Dr. Paz A. Maniwang, Municipal Health Officer, and Mitzi Cael, RN-DSO Point person. The municipality is thanking DOH-RESU and FHSIS team and the awards-giving body for the recognition. The awardees said: “We would also like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Sikatuna LGU, headed by our Municipal Mayor Justiniana “Jecjec” Llanos Ellorimo (inset, lower right corner), for their unwavering support of our health programs and also to the people of Sikatuna for always being with us in any form and in any way.” This is really an achievement and a true testament to how the Municipality of Sikatuna RHU continuously upholds excellence, transparency, and commitment in delivering quality healthcare and data management in public health.
