Antequera Mayor Jose Mario Pahang (in photo) is strengthening Child Protection in Antequera! On August 27, 2025, the Local Government Unit of Antequera successfully conducted a Training on Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) with the active participation of members of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and the Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC). This important initiative aimed to equip our LCPC and LCAT-VAWC members with the knowledge and skills to prevent and respond to OSAEC and CSAEM cases, ensuring stronger protection mechanisms for our children both offline and online. In this regard, heartfelt words of gratitude are extended to the activity’s resource person, Ms. Janice Sofia R.
