ATTY. TEODORO M. LAGANG:

A distinguished profile balancing Law, Leadership, and Family

Atty. Teodoro M. Lagang is a distinguished resident of Sitio Pag-asa, Poblacion, Sierra Bullones, Bohol. Born on September 20, 1977, to Marcelo Lagang and Hilaria Mangogtong, he is the sixth among seven siblings.

Atty. Lagang began his academic journey at Sierra Bullones Central Elementary School, graduating in 1990. He continued his secondary education at Sierra Bullones National High School, where he completed his studies in 1994. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, he entered St. Camillus College Seminary in Marikina City, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Philosophy and a minor in English. Out of seventy seminarians from various provinces, only fifteen—including Atty. Lagang—completed the rigorous five-year seminary formation.

During his time in the seminary, he held several leadership positions, chaired various committees, and served as editor-in-chief of the yearbook, Lellianum ’99.

Pursuing his true calling, Atty. Lagang shifted from theology to law, enrolling at Holy Name University in Tagbilaran City. While studying law, he had to work as a part-time employee at the Bohol Agricultural Promotional Center (Bohol APC) in the morning, while attending classes in the evening, until he got a scholarship from the former Vice Governor Dionisio Balite out of the latter’s benevolence.
