Calape Mayor Junie Yu (standing, in front of the audience) announced that on September 11, 2025, the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for health workers and emergency responders in Calape town was conducted by DOH Accredited trainers from TARSIER 117. This was led by Engr. Meriam Villamor, the current Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (MDRRMO) officer of Calape. The capacity of the emergency responders was also prepared for an Operation Rescue Center to be established in our town to respond to emergencies and this will be called TAKLA 24/7. Contributed photo
