Bohol Light announces scheduled power interruption on October 6, 2025

Bohol Light has informed consumers of a scheduled power interruption set to take place on October 6, 2025.

Based on the advisory released on October 2, 2025, the outage will last six hours, from 9 am to 3 pm.

The interruption is necessary for stringing lines (3-phase, 2/0 ACSR) to convert a 1-phase line to a 3-phase line, which will supply TV5’s load requirements.

The distribution utility serving Tagbilaran City indicated that affected areas will include GMA’s transmitter and cellsites operated by Globe, Dito, and Smart.

The Holy Name University retreat house will also experience a power outage during this period, according to the advisory.

A map showing the affected area has been posted on Bohol Light’s official Facebook page for consumer reference.

The company expressed appreciation for the understanding of affected customers and assured that power will be restored immediately upon completion of the scheduled work.

Bohol Light is the electricity distribution utility for Tagbilaran City and operates as a joint venture between the Provincial Government of Bohol and Primelectric Holdings Inc., a company controlled by businessman Enrique Razon.
