Its first foray into major-league retailing took place in 1982, when it opened Alturas Supermarket Corporation. The founders, whose tenacity and resilience was boundless, then built more stores and malls in Bohol & Cebu. They took a strategy shift in the ‘90s by breaking new grounds, without veering away from the core retail business. This leads to a synergy among the newly-added ventures in distribution, agri & agua, manufacturing, joint ventures & other subsidiaries, which eventually upgraded capabilities, expanded marketing channels and gave leverage to the entire conglomerate.

Alturas Group of Companies is now a forerunner in the development of Bohol’s vibrant economy!

ALTURAS MALL will turn 40 on November 24.
