Bohol Water offers deferred payment plan for new connections

By Leizel C. Butawan

Bohol Water is offering a deferred payment promotion for new water connections during December 2025, allowing customers to pay application fees in installments over six to 12 months.

Application fees of P6,000 pesos for residential connections and P7,000 pesos for commercial connections can be paid in monthly installments without interest, the utility company announced.

The installment amounts will be added to monthly water bills.

The promotion runs through December, with a possible extension.

New water lines are available in portions of Taloto, Cabawan, San Isidro and Dao, in addition to existing pipelines throughout the service area.

Water service will be connected once applicants submit all required documents, according to standard procedures.

Payment installments will begin with the first monthly bill.

Meanwhile, Bohol Water announced it will complete installation of new water lines along Darunday Street in Barangay Dao by December.

The 1,087-meter pipeline is 90% complete and will serve the area from Dao Health Center along Darunday Street to the corner of Dominic Drive in Barangay Tiptip.

The company is also extending service along Zamora Street and Toledo Street in Barangay Dao.

The project is 40% complete, with 1,650 meters of pipeline on Zamora Street and 935 meters on Toledo Street.

BWUI expects these lines to be operational for consumers early next year.

The company is processing permits to begin laying pipelines on both sides of CPG North Avenue, from the corner of Baguio Drive to the corner of Salazar Street in Barangay Ubujan, Tagbilaran City.

Once the Department of Public Works and Highways issues the permit, work will begin on the 480-meter pipeline.
