THE RULE OF LAW

The chemistry of the hosts, Atty. Greg Austral and Dave Albarado is very entertaining.  Tuesdays at “Open Forum” radio program is the Rule of Law episode. The main topic this week was the transfer of Pag-Ibig fund to the Maharlika fund and back.  Nabalik lagi because of the uproar of the people as in among the so many uproars for accountability of public funds.

Why am I amused listening to the two?  You listen to them carefully.  Naa silay bomba pero not bombastik.  It’s just an ordinary conversation between the two pero makatusok sa kasing kasing ug hunahuna.  They don’t exhibit shrill and accusing voice like some broadcasters who explode their strength and sharp throat in order to convince the listeners and viewers.  Unya kita na hinoon ang hangakon nga maminaw nila. Samok pa gyud paminawon.

Atty Austral and Dave Albarado are just like the plant bombastik, –  a plant belonging to the dephinbaquia family but a different variety. The color is in different hues of green and a bit psychedelic.  But beware of the sap because it is very poisonous.  The plant is good for the interior of the house because of its low maintenance and its wide leaves that are thick and pliant. Ingon ana ang style sa Austral-Albarado tandem. Kana ug makasabot kita sa ilang tirade. Makalingaw gyud.

The two also discussed last Tuesday the meaning of democracy in its true sense:  a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Unya mipika dayon si Dave.  He said: “Lain naman karon lagi.  OFF the people, BUY the people and POOR the people.” 

Mitubag dayon si Atty. Austral:  “Mura diay na Dave ug mag spray ka ug off aron dili ka kaonon sa lamok.”


I told muself: “By the people is now BUY the people. Kwarta na man gud Dave ang nagpalakaw sa atong election. Kinsa man ning sayop???  Kutawon ra gud nato atong hunahuna.”

Yes, “For the people karon us already POOR the people.
Di ba husto????”

The program is called The Rule of Law under the umbrella of OPEN FORUM, a program sponsored by The Bohol Tribune. The Rule of Law is every Tuesday from 12:00 nn to 1:00 p.m.

at open forum with Atty. Greg and Dave.  Ps find time to amuse yourself.  At the end of the day, you end up on a lengthy reflection of what the shape is regarding the future in our country.
