NOW SHOWING
“Wicked: For Good”

at Screenville Cinemas

One of the most beloved and enduring stage musicals returns to the big screen in the sequel to the 2024 blockbuster Wicked, titled “Wicked: For Good”, now showing at Screenville Cinema 4 at Island City Mall.

The new film adapts the second act of the 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman. It is loosely based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel, a reimagining of L. Frank Baum’s 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its 1939 film adaptation.

Set in the Land of Oz before and during the events of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the film explores the relationship between Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) as they embrace their new identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Their extraordinary adventures ultimately lead them to fulfill their destinies as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. Wicked is an immersive cultural celebration that will have you dancing and singing along at home over and over again.

“WICKED: FOR GOOD” is still showing at Screenville Cinema 4 of Island City Mall.

COMING SOON
“Avatar 3”

at Screenville Cinemas

The third installment in James Cameron’s epic sci-fi Avatar film series—and the sequel to two of the highest-grossing movies of all time, Avatar (2009) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)—Avatar: Fire and Ash will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, December 17, at Screenville Cinemas in Island City Mall and Alturas Mall, two days ahead of its U.S. release.

In this immersive new fantasy-adventure film, Academy Award-winning filmmaker and Titanic director James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora, a lush, habitable moon in another star system inhabited by a humanoid species known as the Na’vi.

In the wake of the devastating war against human invaders and the loss of their eldest son, Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) face a new threat—the Ash Clan, a violent Na’vi tribe led by the ruthless Varang. Jake’s family must fight for their survival and the future of Pandora in a conflict that pushes them to their emotional and physical limits.

The previous two Avatar films were unprecedented commercial hits, ranking as the highest and third-highest-grossing films of all time and collectively earning well over $5 billion worldwide.
